My Journey

I didn't come to coaching through a traditional path. My journey has been shaped by life—by loss, by building, by the challenge of integrating who I am across all domains of my life.

After my husband's death in 2010, I became a single parent raising three children while building my coaching practice. That experience taught me something profound: leadership isn't just what you do at work. It's how you show up everywhere—as a parent, as a professional, as a person navigating constant change.

This is why I don't believe in work-life balance. I believe in whole-life leadership—the integration of your values across every domain where you show up.

For nearly 30 years, I've worked with leaders across the UN, government agencies, the US Marine Corps, and organizations worldwide. What I've learned is that the most effective leaders aren't the ones who compartmentalize. They're the ones who lead from alignment between their deepest values and their daily actions.

My Philosophy

Leadership starts from within. Before you can effectively lead others, you must first lead yourself.

Leading from the Heart—the Seat of Wisdom, Compassion, and Connection

I believe that leading from the heart—the seat of wisdom, compassion and connection—creates transformed working relationships. This isn't about being soft or avoiding difficult decisions. It's about leading from your full humanity, grounded in what matters most to you.

When you lead from the heart, you make decisions that align with your values. You build relationships based on genuine connection. You create impact that lasts because it comes from authenticity, not performance.

Letting Go and Letting Come

Real transformation requires both release and invitation. My "Letting Go and Letting Come" framework helps you identify what no longer serves you—old patterns, limiting beliefs, outdated identities—so you can make space for what wants to emerge. This isn't about forcing change. It's about creating conditions for authentic growth.

Whole-Life Integration

Your values don't stop at the office door. The leader you are at work, the parent you are at home, the person you are in your community—these aren't separate identities. They're expressions of the same you. When you lead from alignment across all domains, you stop fragmenting yourself. You show up whole.

Neuroscience-Informed Coaching

Sustainable change requires understanding how your brain works. My neuroscience-informed approach helps you work with your brain's natural patterns—not against them. You'll understand why certain habits persist, how to create new neural pathways, and what it takes for change to actually stick.

Warm Wisdom with a Practical Edge

I bring warmth, compassion, and deep listening—and I also bring honesty, structure, and accountability. You need both. Transformation happens in the space between being held with compassion and being challenged to grow. That's where I meet you.

"This isn't generic coaching. This is leadership development that honors the full complexity of your life."

Cross-Cultural Leadership Experience

Global Organizations

Nearly 30 years working with leaders across cultures, languages, and continents—from the UN to the US Marine Corps.

Professional Background

Before becoming a full-time coach, I spent years in human resources management and recruiting, giving me deep insight into organizational dynamics and what leaders actually face in the real world.

I hold a BA in Sociology and International Relations, and my early interest in understanding human nature led me to pursue graduate studies in anthropology. This curiosity about what makes people tick has been the throughline of my entire career.

What Makes Me Different

1

I've lived what I coach.

I don't just teach whole-life leadership from theory. I've built a coaching practice as a single parent, integrated my values across multiple life domains during profound transitions, and navigated the complexity of leading from alignment when life doesn't fit into neat categories.

2

I combine heart and science.

You get both warmth and rigor. Compassionate listening and honest feedback. Brain-based understanding of how change actually works, and deep respect for the complexity of your inner landscape. You need both for real transformation.

3

I don't believe in work-life balance.

I believe in integration. Your leadership at work and your presence at home aren't separate. When you lead from your values everywhere, you stop fragmenting yourself. You show up whole. That's when real impact happens.

4

I work globally, think cross-culturally.

Having worked with leaders across the UN, government agencies, military, and private sector—across cultures, languages, and continents—I understand that effective leadership transcends cultural contexts while honoring cultural nuance.
